Payment and Payment Plan Agreement
Tuition and fees are due 14 days prior to the beginning of the course. A student will not be registered for the program until payment is received. If a student has a Pell Grant or other sponsorship, it is the student’s responsibility to ensure funding is in place. The list of classes, approximate start dates, and the associated tuition and fees are available on the College’s website.
Late fees, re-enrollment fees, application/graduation fees, textbooks, and any additional program course fees are not refundable and may not be covered by financial aid. These and other refunds shall be in accordance with the College’s Refund of Tuition and Fees Policy.
Students can pay by cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard. Checks returned for non-payment will result in a $25 processing fee plus any applicable collection fees.
If a student has missed 10 consecutive scheduled class days, or if they are not enrolled in a class after 5 business days, they may be withdrawn from their class and program in accordance with the Dixie Tech Withdrawal Policy. To re-enroll, the student MUST comply with the conditions of the Withdrawal Policy.
Per the Dixie Technical College Withdrawal Policy, it is the responsibility of the student to withdraw from classes when they have either completed their objectives or when they decide to stop attending classes. See Student Refund Policy for information on any possible refund.
Any missed payment under this payment plan may, in the College’s discretion, result in the student immediately being withdrawn from the class and/or program.
It is the responsibility of a sponsored student to contact their sponsor, counselor, or advisor (i.e., Division of Workforce Services, Vocational Rehab, employer, etc.) to make sure that all sponsorship documentation is complete and that the outstanding balance is paid in full 14 days prior to the start of class. If a sponsor fails to submit a payment, it is the student’s responsibility to pay (on or before the first scheduled day of class).
All charges on a student account must be paid before certificates, transcripts, grades, or enrollment verification can be released.
If a student has or is applying for financial aid, payments must still be made on time even if financial aid is pending. Being approved/awarded financial aid does not automatically mean that tuition/fees have been paid in full. A student is responsible to check on his/her account status even if Pell funds have been disbursed.
