What you need to start your benefits:

  1. Schedule an appointment with our Financial Aid Advisors above.
    1. Select Veteran on the form.
  2. Proof of eligibility: Certificate of Eligibility from VA or previously used your benefit at another institution. Need a replacement COE? Call 1-888-442-4551
  3. Military training record (JST, CCAF, VMET, DD214)
  4. College transcripts (if you have any)
  5. Completed OTECH VA Guidelines form
  6. Completed OTECH Prior Credit Form

How long will it take for me to receive my benefits?
It typically takes 4-6 weeks from your first day of class before you receive payment from the VA for BAH, books, and supplies.
What are the academic standards for a VA sponsored students?
VA-sponsored students must maintain a 70% cumulative progress and 80% monthly attendance. For Veteran’s Readiness and Employment, please consult your individual VA case worker.
