Become A commercial Plumber

Completing the Plumbing Residential Program of 540 classroom hours and 6000 paid on the job training hours is a prerequisite for this program. Plumbing Apprentices must register with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, and complete an additional 2,000 hours of paid on the job training as a licensed apprentice, and complete the required 180 classroom instruction hours to take the state Commercial Journeyman Exam.

      About Your commercial Plumbing Instructor

      MARK LUND

      Mark Lund began his career as a plumber shortly after high school graduation. He loved the work and had an opportunity to open his own plumbing company. Over the years, he operated his business successfully, gaining experience and knowledge in the field.

      Mark joined the Dixie Tech faculty in 2020 as our first full-time plumbing instructor and manages all the adjunct plumbing-instructors.
