Become A Residential Plumber

Plumbing Apprentices will be working in residential settings, assembling, installing, and repairing water, drainage and heating systems. Plumbing Apprentices must register with the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing, complete 6000 paid on the job training as a licensed apprentice, and complete the required 540 classroom training hours to take the state Residential Journeyman Exam.

      About Your residential plumbing Instructor


      Mark Lund began his career as a plumber shortly after high school graduation. He loved the work and had an opportunity to open his own plumbing company. Over the years, he operated his business successfully, gaining experience and knowledge in the field.

      Mark joined the Dixie Tech faculty in 2020 as our first full-time plumbing instructor and manages all the adjunct plumbing-instructors.
