TJ Empey followed in his father’s footsteps and began the Electrical Apprenticeship program right after high school, eventually earning the designation of Master Electrician. He worked in the field for several years before joining the Dixie Tech faculty as a full-time Electrical Apprenticeship instructor.
TJ teaches and manages a large cadre of electricians and instructors who keep our Electrical Apprenticeship program vibrant. “It’s electrifying to see the spark in a student’s eyes when they have a grounded understanding of a subject.”
