"I chose Dixie Tech based on a friend's recommendation and I'm really glad that I did. I am currently a full time firefighter with the city of St. George and I wouldn't have even been able to apply if it had not been for having my EMT certification. I liked the instructors the very most. Roland and Shellie are two amazing people and do a great job."

"I wasn't sure what I wanted to do when initially starting my Basic EMT at Dixie Tech, but Roland and Shellie, along with all the adjunct instructors made me fall in love with EMS. Since completing my Advanced EMT in February, I have been working as an AEMT at Gold Cross Ambulance and am currently in the Paramedic Program at Utah Tech University."

"I'm currently working as an AI&T Engineer at Intergalactic Aerospace. I volunteer on the Washington County Search and Rescue team; that was both the impetus behind starting the program and what I hope to use it for after gaining the certification. I wanted to improve my ability to help others who are lost or injured in the wilderness, and I believe the skills of an AEMT (especially starting IVs and administering medications) are invaluable in that pursuit."
