Learn more about our Nursing Assitant program

Gain practical experience with introductory medical skills like taking vitals, learning basic body system functions communicating with patients, and more. The program is ideal for those deeply interested in careers focused on helping others and centered around human health and the body. Students graduate ready to provide compassionate care in a variety of healthcare settings.

 As a student of this program, you will:

Kristin Davis

With a Bachelor of Nursing, Kristin began her career in trauma nursing at the University of Kentucky hospital. She later shifted to teaching and in 2019 became the lead instructor at Dixie Tech’s Nursing Assistant program.

Veronica Jurado-Soto

With over 20 years of experience as a CNA, receptionist, and RN, she strives to impart knowledge and support student success so they find fulfillment in their healthcare careers. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and reading.
