How to install networking hardware, configure a small office/home office (SOHO) network, build a complete Intranet, and connect mobile and desktop devices to a network.
Security concepts, tools and procedures to react to security incidents, general knowledge of security concepts, threats, and tools.
Learning basic cloud concepts such as migration, storage, virtual machines, Cloud Servers, DevOps and troubleshooting.
Jon was born Logan, Utah. Due to his dad’s work and Military involvement, his family had the opportunity to live in and visit many amazing places. Jon still enjoys his time recreating with brothers as well as with his 2 amazing daughters and wife. Jon is a lifelong learner and enjoys making and building everything from PCs to 3D printers.
Lee grew up in a Navy family – at the time that meant moving every 2 years. Lee’s outgoing personality and thirst for knowledge is a direct result of his childhood experiences. Lee discovered a passion for teaching early in his life. In 2010, Lee joined Dixie Technical College as an administrator for the OpX program. After five years of administration and IT service positions, Lee was able to realize his dream of becoming a teacher here at Dixie Tech. Lee’s hobbies include cooking and BBQ.
