Student Records Information
Transcripts
A transcript is a record of a student’s completed courses and certificates earned, and doesn’t include in-progress programs or courses.
You can order your official transcript to yourself or another institution through Parchment, or access your unofficial transcript any time via the student portal.
Use Parchment for official transcript requests.
Use the Student Portal to view unofficial transcripts.
Sending your transcript to the Utah Division of Professional Licensing?
After creating your Parchment account, select ‘I am sending this order to another individual’. You will then be prompted to enter the business name (enter DOPL) and recipient’s email address.
For Utah licensing, Plumbing and Electrical Apprenticeship students should send transcripts to b5@utah.gov unless directed otherwise. Transcripts for other licenses/programs may be sent to dopl@utah.gov unless directed otherwise.
Certificates
We’ve partnered with Parchment for the issuing of certificates. Once you’ve completed your program and submitted the Application for Certificate, you will receive a notification from Parchment. You’ll have 3 days to verify your mailing address, if not it will be mailed to the address you provided on your application. Please allow at least 4 weeks for processing.
Need your certificate sooner? Once you receive the notification from Parchment, you’ll also be able to log in to share or download a digital certificate at any time.
If you need a replacement certificate, we will print and mail one more certificate free of charge.

Verification Documents
Enrollment Verification Letters
An enrollment verification letter is a document confirming a student’s enrollment and typically includes the student’s name, enrollment status, and dates of enrollment. You can request an enrollment verification through Parchment.
Education and Graduation Verifications
Education/graduation verifications are typically sent by Employers to Dixie Tech in order to verify that a student earned a certificate. These requests, as well as a signed authorization from the student, should be sent to registrar@dixietech.edu.
Confidentiality of Student Records (FERPA)
The College maintains the confidentiality of student educational records and protects the privacy rights of all students in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) of 1973. Unless specifically withheld by the student, the College is permitted to release directory information without consent as outlined in the Student Records Policy.
Students may grant access to their educational records to someone else with written permission. The official release of information form is available in Student Services. An ID will be required when submitting this form.
