Dixie Tech Need Based Scholarship
The Dixie Tech need based scholarship is based upon a students individual need. You should complete a FAFSA application before applying.
Tech Success Scholarship
The Tech Success scholarship is for specific programs at Dixie Tech that are growing and is a need based scholarship.
Double Take Scholarship
The Double Take scholarship is for Dixie Tech graduates who are taking a second program.
WCSD Graduate pathway scholarship
The Dixie Tech WCSD Pathway scholarship is for Washington County High School Graduates. Amounts vary for graduates and CTE pathway graduates.

Local Scholarships
America First Scholarship
The mission of the America First Charitable Foundation is to encourage and administer contributions for educational scholarships. These are awarded based on a student’s commitment to community service as well as leadership and academic potential. They are intended to help America First members pursue post-secondary education and training.
Our foundation recognizes and awards scholarships each year to qualified members. This year, we are giving away 10 scholarships worth $5,000 each. In order to be eligible, members must be graduating high school seniors or undergraduate students currently enrolled in a two-year, four-year or technical college or university, and have a passion for serving and helping others.
The America First Charitable Foundation is looking for candidates who embody the people-helping-people philosophy. Those who play an active role in giving back to their community, whether through volunteering or other meaningful contributions of time, effort, and care. Dixie Elks Lodge Scholarships

EGIA Foundation HVAC HERO Scholarship
The EGIA Foundation HVAC HERO Scholarship was established to recognize the excellent and deserving students seeking an HVAC technical education. This scholarship provides essential financial support to pursue residential HVAC, or home performance contracting careers.
Up to 30 eligible students per year are awarded a $2500 scholarship to put toward tuition costs at an accredited community college, technical/vocational school, or approved technical institute while working to obtain HVAC degree or certificate.

Live Your Dream Scholarship
Live Your Dream supports single-mother families by providing scholarships for single mothers who desire to gain an education to better provide for their children.
These scholarships are awarded in July and applications are due in April.

The Southern Utah Home Builders Association (SUHBA) has an established scholarship program. Each year, SUHBA will award scholarships to students pursuing post-high school education. Preference for scholarships will be given to students pursuing construction-related education and students affiliated with SUHBA. The scholarship may be used to fund almost any post-secondary education, i.e., college or vocational, public, or private. Monies will be paid directly to the school of choice of the winners to help defray the cost of tuition. Recipients may be awarded up to $1,000 per academic year. Applicant must be Grade 12 or equivalent to apply.
Stella H. Oaks Scholarship
A scholarship for single mothers.
Applying for one of the single mother scholarships offered by the Stella H. Oaks Foundation can be accomplished in three steps:
1. Make sure you meet all scholarship eligibility criteria
2. Fill out an online application form (email scholarship@stellahoaks.org or call (801) 866-1936 with application and scholarship-related questions)
3. Eligible applicants may be invited to interview with our scholarship selection committee
For short programs, your scholarship may be a one-time award. For longer programs (6 months+), you may apply for a second scholarship to cover the next portion of your program.
There are no application deadlines for technical and vocational programs. Applications are reviewed upon submission and students are notified of the scholarship committee’s decision within two weeks.
All scholarships are granted on a per semester/term basis only. To apply for additional semesters, applicants must fill out an online renewal application form and provide the required renewal supporting documents by the deadlines to be eligible for consideration of any additional awards.

SUTA Scholarship
The Southern Utah Trucking Association sponsors scholarships for students entering the Diesel Technology or CDL programs. Interested students must fill out the application and submit it by the spring or fall deadline.
St. George Lady Lions Club Scholarships
The St. George Lions Club is pleased to provide financial assistance to graduating high school seniors in the form of ten $1000.00 scholarships. These will be awarded and available for use for the upcoming Winter/Spring cohorts. The scholarship is for use at local Colleges and Tech Schools.

Winter/Spring scolarship applications are due October 1, 2025.
An additional ten $1000.00 scholarships will be available for Fall 2026. Fall 2026 scholarship applications will be due by February 28, 2026.
Utah State Chapter P.E.O. Scholarships
Utah State Chapter P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) supports women through educational scholarships, grants, awards, and loans. There are several offered, each with unique requirements, and one of these is The Glen Ella Jones Scholarship Fund established in 2015 to provide a one-time scholarship to one female Utah resident, 21 years of age or older, who has graduated from a high school or earned a GED, and who has never completed a college degree. This scholarship may be used at Utah accredited vocational schools.
The scholarship award amount varies and is a financial need based scholarship. Among the requirements is sponsorship by a Utah P.E.O. Chapter and, if needed, the scholarship committee will gladly assist applicants by introduction to a local chapter.

Eligibility:
In order to be awarded any type of College Scholarship, students must be U.S. citizens or Legal Resident aliens. Some scholarship awards can only be provided to Utah State Residents. Students on scholarship must maintain satisfactory progress (67%) and attendance (85%) at all times while attending the College. Some programs require higher rates of progress or attendance. These program requirements will be considered when making selections or evaluating continued eligibility. Failure to maintain satisfactory progress or attendance can result in automatic withdrawal of the scholarship.
Scholarships are normally only available for programs that are regular, ongoing technical College programs that lead to an approved, Certificate of Completion. Exceptions can be granted on a case-by-case basis for need-based awards, but only if you can establish the program leads to gainful employment or licensing. All requests for exceptions must be submitted in writing to the Financial Aid office.
