The Testing Center is located in Building C on the Dixie Technical College campus. This is where you can take your Accuplacer, EPA, RMGA or TEAS exam.

The ACCUPLACER helps colleges and workforce training providers gauge student readiness for required coursework and identify areas where students may need additional support to succeed. Each program at Dixie Tech has different Accuplacer score requirements. Click Here to see the scores your program requires.
Where and When can I take the accuplacer?
Dixie Tech | 610 S. Tech Ridge Drive (Cost $15)
ProctorU | Proctored Online (Cost $40)
Online 24/7 accept for Sunday evening from 7pm to 12am
Please allow 2 business days after paying for your online Proctoru Accuplacer to receive your voucher by email
Utah Tech | 46 S 1000 E (Cost $20)
Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 4:00pm
What do I need to bring to test?
- Valid Picture ID is required for ALL tests
- Children are not permitted in the assessment area or left unattended at Dixie Tech
- Cell phones or electronic devices are not permitted in the testing area
- All personal items or belongings will be stored in a locker during testing (lockers will be provided to store personal items during your test)
What subjects are covered in the Accuplacer?
Next-Generation Accuplacer Admissions Test requirements: Depending on the program, you may be required to test for Math (Computive and Applied) Reading and Writing Skills (school level) These are the areas that they will be tested on:
- MATH: Additions, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and decimals.
- READING: Vocabulary and comprehensive.
- LANGUAGE: Sentence structure, conventions of punctuation, conversion of usage.
What score will I need for my program?
Each program has its own specific score requirements.
What do I do when done with the Accuplacer?
If taken at Dixie Tech your score will automatically be uploaded to your application
If taken online or at Utah Tech you will need to upload a copy of your test results to your Dixie Tech application.
You may take the Accuplacer exam in-person at Dixie Tech or online through ProctorU. In-person is $15. Proctored online is $40.

Accuplacer
In-Person Cost $15
Proctored Online Cost $40
Accuplacer may be taken as many times as wanted. Cost is per attempt.
RMGA
Cost: $25 | Invoice from Dixie Tech

TEAS Exam
Cost: $115 | Invoice from ATI
TEAS exam may only be taken up to 3 times in a single year.
Should a student not pass or wishes to better their score, Dixie Tech requires 14 days in between retakes.

HESI Exam
Cost: $70
Test can be taken in-person only.
HESI Exam may only be taken up to 3 times in a single year.
