Our goal is to assist students to succeed in their choice of academic studies. We provide a variety of assessment and testing services available to both Dixie Technical College students and non-students in addition to test proctoring for students from other universities, colleges and employers. Part of the mission of the Testing Center is to provide a testing location and atmosphere that is secure, comfortable, and stress-minimizing. We understand that testing can be a stressful activity, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

If you’re a student preparing to take the Accuplacer but are unable to come to our campus or reside outside our area, please use the link below to find a testing center near you.
TESTING REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Picture ID is required for ALL tests
- Children are not permitted in the assessment area or left unattended at Dixie Tech
- Cell phones or electronic devices are not permitted in the testing area
- All personal items or belongings will be stored in a locker during testing (lockers will be provided to store personal items during your test)
TESTS WE OFFER
Next-Generation Accuplacer Admissions Test requirements: Depending on the program, you may be required to test for Math (Computive and Applied) Reading and Writing Skills (school level) These are the areas that they will be tested on:
- MATH: Additions, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and decimals.
- READING: Vocabulary and comprehensive.
- LANGUAGE: Sentence structure, conventions of punctuation, conversion of usage.
